A 2020 aggregate study by J.D. Mollard and Associates included air photo mapping, an EM31 ground survey, 19 test pits and lab sieve analysis. It estimates about 1.04 million tonnes of confirmed gravel and sand, roughly 940,000 tonnes of it above the water table, plus about 240,000 tonnes inferred. The main deposit is clean, well-graded gravel averaging 4.4 m thick under only 0.1–0.3 m of topsoil, and the test pits did not reach the bottom. With crushing and screening, the material suits traffic gravel, base, sub-base and asphalt aggregate. Grid road access at the southeast corner, close to Highways 35 and 349.
